Marian is an Independent Investment Advisor and she currently advises a number of clients including the West Yorkshire Pension Fund. In addition to her advisory roles Marian is the Chair of a charitable organisation. Over her career she has advised clients on a wide range of topics and across all asset classes, specialising in fixed income, which has become increasingly important as schemes mature, move into a negative cash flow position and wish to make their assets work harder. Prior to pursuing a portfolio career Marian held senior roles at Western Asset, a global bond manager (where she was responsible for all UK clients including public and private sector pension schemes). Marian also has experience as a senior investment consultant at both Hymans Robertson and Buck Consulting. Marian started her career at Norwich Union as Investment Actuary.
