Martin Collins

Trustee Director

Vidett Limited

Martin Collins is a Trustee Director at Vidett Limited, with over 30 years’ experience working in pensions.

His roles have ranged from Actuary to Employer (with a £40bn pension scheme), giving him real empathy and understanding of the issues an employer faces, alongside the technical skills to be a first-class trustee.

20 years of consulting have given Martin a broad range of experience for successfully implementing solutions for clients of all sizes (assets ranging from £10m to £50bn). He was also key in the recovery of Lloyds Banking Group, joining them as a Treasury Director during the great financial crisis, saving the bank more than £20bn of capital.

Martin’s main strengths include investment and funding strategy and financial risk management.
